Regulator PID KS Vario

KSVARIO - up to 30 loops PID controller

KS Vario - multi-channel controller for DIN rail.

 

KS Vario - multi-channel regulator / multi-zone central unit of the modular VARIO control system. In connection with the I / O modules and the network communication module, it creates a multi-loop PID controller system whose number of zones can be varied from 4 to 30 control loops. Modular system of configurable digital or analog inputs / outputs that can operate as alarm thresholds, controller inputs / outputs, switching signals and distributed inputs / outputs controlled by the master system, configurable control loop types (PID with continuous output, two- and three-step control, step-by-step) , cascade, etc.) with many additional functions (input monitoring, self-tuning, start-up, ramps, etc.). In addition, Ethernet, Profibus-DP, CANopen, DeviceNet and Modbus communication modules make the VARIO system a universal control system for cooperation with higher-level PLC systems.
Configuration of control systems is done by the BlueControl software using a separate RS232 port of the KS Vario module.

Basic technical data of KSVario:

  • housing: IP20, mounted on a 35mm DIN rail
  • universal, configurable measurement inputs: B, C, D, L, J, K, N, S, R thermocouples, sensor
  • additional analogue input modules, type 0/4 ... 20mA, 0 ... 10V, -20 ... 20mA, -10 ... 10V, Pt100, thermocouples, additional analogue output modules 0/4 ... 20mA, 0 ... 10V, -20 ... 20mA, -10 ... 10V
  • additional 24 VDC binary inputs modules, additional 24 VDC binary output modules
  • LED diodes indicating the operating status (communication, errors, etc.)
  • 24VDC power supply
  • Pt100, resistive input 0 ... 450 oOhm, voltage input 0 ... 70mV with status monitoring (open circuit, polarity)
  • Ethernet, Profibus-DP, CANopen, DeviceNet, Modbus communication modules
