TB 40-1 Temperature Limiter

TB 40 - certified table temperature limiter.

TB 40 is a microprocessor temperature limiter designed to signal exceeding the set alarm thresholds. The device can be used as a safety switch, it meets the safety standard in accordance with EN 14597 (replacement of DIN 3440).
The universal measuring input is equipped with a status monitor enabling detection of too high value, incorrect polarity or an interruption in the measuring circuit. TB 40 is equipped with two relay alarm outputs, i.e. pre-alarm and proper alarm. These outputs are deactivated after exceeding the preset alarm values and remain in this state until the alarm is cleared (deletion via digital input or from the keypad). The alarm thresholds are set using the TB40 keypad, access to changes is secured by a password and a digital input.

Basic technical data of TB40:

• universal, configurable measuring input: L, J, K, N, S, R type thermocouple (measurement error = 3K), PT 100 sensor (measurement error = 1K), 0 / 4-20mA input, 0-10V input ( measurement error = 0.1%)
• menu for setting threshold values and device configuration (password protected and logic input)
• housing: front IP 54, rear IP20
• working temperature from 0 to + 60 ° C, humidity = 75%
• DIN EN 14597
• two relay outputs max. 250V, 3A and one logic 0 / 13V
• two logic inputs (contact, transistor n-p-n or signal 0 / 3-6V)
• four-digit LED display 10mm for displaying the measured value and a four-digit LED display 7.6mm for settings
• two LEDs (output status) plus a three-button keyboard
• possibility of programming from the PC level
• power supply 230 VAC / 115VAC from + 10% to -15%, 48-62Hz
