TENSOMETRIC SENSOR PR 6221

The PR 6221 range of load cells is designed exclusively for use on road weighbridges. The unique design principle, combined with the installation kits, counterbalances movements caused by mechanical or thermal expansion or contraction of the weighbridge construction.

Depending on the measurement accuracy required, the sensors are available in four accuracy classes:

• C3 (0,015% measuring range)
• C4 (0,012% measuring range)
• C5 (0,010% measuring range)
• C6 (0,008% measuring range)

The PR 6221 sensor is professionally protected against electrical discharges (in combination with a mounting box) and overvoltages. Can be used without maintenance, as it requires no maintenance.

• output signal: 1mV / V (20t, 30t), 2mV / V (50t), 2.4mV / V (60t), 3mV / V (75t)
• input impedance: 1080 +/- 10 Ohm
• output impedance: for class C3: 1010 +/- 1 Ohm
• for class C5 with Emax = 50t: 760 +/- 1 Ohm
• for class C4, C5 at Emax = 60t: 635 +/- 1 Ohm
• for class C4, C5 at Emax = 75t: 510 +/- 1 Ohm
• intrinsically safe version: EEx ib IIC T6 certificate (PTB No. Ex-92.C.2137)
• II 1G EEx ia IIC T6 (PTB 02 ATEX 2059)
