KS40-1 BURNER PID CONTROLLER

KS 40-1 BURNER - microprocessor universal regulator, designed specifically for temperature control systems in furnace systems with modulated burners, one or two stage and dual fuel.

Switching of the output type (modulated / graduated) can take place during operation of the regulator, which allows easy adjustment of the control system to changes in the type of fuel feeding the burners.

KS 40-1 has a configurable type of regulation, a universal measuring input and an additional, configurable analog input (both of which monitor the status of inputs). It also has a number of functions to exceed thresholds (eg, actual, setpoint, output) that can be used to control outputs (configuration of the outputs function). As an option: two logic inputs can be configured as blocking, confirmation, alarm reset, switching to a second setpoint, burner mode, A / M mode, etc. As an option: KS 40-1 Burner can power the measuring transducer (18VDC, 22mA).

Setting of setpoints, parameterization and configuration of the controller through a several-level menu (with the possibility of securing access through passwords) or the BluePort interface. The BluePort digital interface is used to connect the controller to a PC with the BlueControl software, which is used, among others, for convenient controller configuration (clear tables with parameters, on-line help, the ability to create a library of controllers), parameter monitoring (on-line) or simulation of operation (checking off-line settings).

Basic technical parameters:

• two or three-position PID controller, PID three-position controller, PID controller with triangle / star functions (switching to full or partial load) with auto-tuning function, controller with setpoint correction, keypad setpoint, additional input (adjustable gradient)
• additional analog input accuracy of 0.5%, type 0/4 ... 20mA, potentiometric 160/450/1600 ohms or Pt100 - configurable (including setpoint, setpoint correction, actuator position)
• three relay outputs NO max. 250V, 2A and one logic 0 / 13V - configurable (controller outputs, alarms, limits, status)
• universal, configurable measuring input: L, J, K, N, S, R type thermocouples (measurement error = 3K), Pt100 sensor (measurement error = 1K), input 0/4 ... 20mA, input 0 ... 10V (measurement error = 0.1%)
• regulator for modulated, two-point, dual-fuel burners
• four-digit LED display 10mm for displaying the measured value and a four-digit LED display 7.6mm for settings, LED diodes (status of outputs and statuses) plus a five-button keyboard
• power supply 90 - 260VAC, 48 - 62Hz or universal 24 V (20.4 - 26.4 VAC or 18 - 31 VDC)
• housing: front IP 54, rear IP20
• working temperature from 0 to + 60C, humidity: less than 75%

• option - two logic inputs with a potential-free contact (5V, 160uA) 0 - configurable - change of control mode from DI - for fuel change
